Something to think about
News by Grizlas

It has been some time since I made my last contribution to the front page, and so I thought I might share with you some of the links I came across this evening.

The first thing that caught my eye was a headline over at new scientist about some
nanomaterial. It seems that they now have the ability to create a nano-coating that can bring down the refractive index drastically. Just think about what this could do for suncells someday if they figure out how to mass-produce the coating. Maybe 30% more power doesn’t seem like all that much, but it is progress.

Next I stumbled upon an article on wired called
Snackslash. I could only nod my head in agreement as I read this stub. We have heard it said a billion times that we are living a fast-food existence where every second is carefully allotted to whatever ultimately yeilds most enjoyment per second. What is being pointing out in this article is that although we might value our time considerably more than previous generations, we also have more refined tastes when it comes to something like media. A good read.

That is all I have time for. Sheeps need to be counted as they jump accross a fence - thats how it's always depicted in Donald Duck anyways. Come to think of it, I dont think I've ever seen a sheep do anything that might be considered a jump. Never seen them scale a fence either. Don't we build fences precisely because they cant? Good night.

Hey, nice article. Especially Snackslash, and i agree most of us have 1 or 2 series that we follow intensly, and they do take up a lot of time. Since I started watching series of the net, my book reading has been dramatically reduced. But hey, now we have books on our Mp3's so its all good. smiley

I couldn´t get the other link to work, so the nanomaterial must wait for my comment.

Just for the record they can jump and pretty high aswell but then again maybe its just those crazy sheeps I've been chasing all these years that do jump fences.

For some reason only 2 photos the Brugge album now, something might have gotten lost over the years and transfers of hosts, etc.

I'm pretty sure we had more photo albums, like Bruges and Dubrovnik.

works with no issues in normal version of Firefox. I'm guessing you either did not do CTRL+F5 or are using some adblock plugin.
