Where do you really stand on religion?
News by vuzmanIn continuation of the test on political views, here is a similar test on religious values. Answer 20 questions and you will be told what religion (if any) you practice...or ought to consider practicing.

Belief-O-Matic

I found out that I am a Secular Humanist, no surprise there.

This test will probably be more fun, or valid, for people who actually have a religion, but then a couple of us haven't seen the light yet... smiley

The reason I like tests like these, even with their dubious thoroughness and/or validity, is that we often have preconceived notions about beliefs (religious or otherwise) that we don't have, and wrong notions about the beliefs we do have. But also they force us to consider indivual issues and, well, think. Thinking is a very underestimated activity.
Vuzman on August 29 2006 11:39:50

While I'm at it, I'm actually a bit disappointed that so few have responded to my previous "survey"; http://gongumenn.com/news.php?readmore=21.

I don't know if it is because of indifference, apathy, or even embarrassment at one's own beliefs, but either way, I don't like the implication of that.

Hmmmm

I'm Orthodox Quaker (What?? I better read up on those guys) closely followed by liberal christian Protestant.

Well I'm Conservative Christian/Protestant, and trailing by 1% is Orthodox Quaker.
Jogvanth on August 30 2006 16:29:54

eitt sindur seint, men allíkavæl...
100% Secular Humanism
tó síggi eg ikki tað neyðuga við eini test, keðiligs spurningar. Hevði verið meira áhugavert um eins standpunkt til moral, eksistentialistiskir tankar kundi verið samanbornir til eina ella fleiri religón. Henda testin hevði 5 keðiligir spurnngar viðvíkandi hesum.

works with no issues in normal version of Firefox. I'm guessing you either did not do CTRL+F5 or are using some adblock plugin.

Use Firefox and it blocks all sorts of unwanted stuff of course.
