How bad is the whole Glasir construction debacle compared to other "similar" construction projects - please help me add to this list.

You should stick to comparing similar type of buildings, i.e. schools and maybe university campus buildings.
It is not useful to compare a school with a multi-arena, stadium, power plant, culture house or other building, they contain wildly different things, serve different purposes, and are build to completely different standards. Royal Arena was built to a completely different standard then Boxen, costing nearly 5 times as much, even if the seat count is pretty much the same. Do you then compare it to Royal Arena or Boxen? Neither would be my suggestion.
The cost overruns on the Niels Bohr building at UCPH (yeah that is their official English abbreviation, I hate it!) is mostly because of specific installations that are required because of the research they are doing, and how the ducting isn't suitable for that, the building could work fine as a place of study at it's original price, so comparing it's original price to Glasir is valid.
The most prudent would be to compare it to a danish high-school, built to a high architectural standard, and it so happens that you can do that: Ørestad Gymnasium (Orestad College), which has won many of prizes for it's architectural design, and which has served as a spiritual basis for BIG in designing Glasir.
E-architect lists the following for Orestad College:

It has a DKK/m2 cost of 16667. Adjusting for price levels between 2006 and now will probably increase the cost somewhat, but not by much, it being the boom times before the last crash.
