This podcast came out two weeks ago, and has already reached legendary status, with thousands of comments on the reddit thread, and a subsequent published article in Scientific American.
A little bit of background: Some months ago Hancock and Carlson were on Rogan discussing various new ideas on the origin of agriculture, who were the builders of Göbekli Tepe, possible comet impact causing the Younger Dryas, and thus being the "real" cause for the end of the paleolithic, and the coming of the neolithic. Shermer, the edior in Chief of Skeptic magazine visited Rogan's podcast some time later (one of his many visits), and wanted to take on the pair in a discussion of facts, pseudoscience and what happened at the paleolithic/neolithic boundary.
What follows is 3½ hours of discussion, with both sides going at it, being allowed "phone a friend/expert" lifelines, ad-hoc slide presentations, and Young Jamie trying his best at keeping up with fact checking via impartial sources.
This is well worth it for anyone interested in the paleolithic, the end of the ice age, possible ancient civilizations, the colonization of the Americas, the building of the Sphinx, Göbekli Tepe, archeoastronomy, and the extinction of the paleolithic mega fauna.
The debaters as presented: Graham Hancock is an English author and journalist, well known for books such as "Fingerprints Of The Gods" & his latest book "Magicians of the Gods". Randall Carlson is a master builder and architectural designer, teacher, geometrician, geomythologist, geological explorer and renegade scholar. Michael Shermer is a science writer, historian of science, founder of The Skeptics Society, and Editor in Chief of its magazine Skeptic.

I remember that Hancock fellow from years back with the orion thing - complete crackpot. The Randall Carlson is unknown to me, but seems to be playing the same game as Hancock.
Nice to see someone taking them on. Yay for the Skeptics!
