I signed up to this some weeks ago, and a couple days ago, I got my results back.
There are quite a few results which I already knew, or at least suspected, like that I have an elevated risk of Psoriasis and gallstones, and a decreased risk of male pattern baldness, all of which I have determined by looking at my family, and some results which are obvious to me, but interesting to see that someone has determined this from my genes; like that my eyes are blue, and my hair is slightly curly.
The interesting stuff, however, is the stuff I didn't know. Turns out I have a typical risk of getting Parkinson's, and a decreased risk of getting Alzheimer's. That's nice to know. I also have a decreased risk of getting Type 2 Diabetes, MS, and several cancers, including melanoma.
That is only a tiny part of the health-related information, but there is also an extensive section on ancestry, where you can find out about the ancestry of your genes, and even find relatives.
There is, of course, also a plethora of information about how genes work.
I have mentioned this to some of you, but the price I mentioned was somewhat incorrect; sign-up is $99 like I said, but there's a required 1 year membership which costs $9/month. It is still quite manageable, and the information might save your life...

This service, provided by Knome, is vastly more extensive than the one provided by 23andMe, but does cost $40,000. This is down from $100,000 three years ago, so this might be feasible for regular people within not too many years.
