Here is a very good interview with one of the greats in Formula One, Damon Hill. He is considered by many as not to be one of the greats, but I always liked him. So he couldn't overtake, who cares? Put him on an empty track, and he would fly.

Considering he was like 29 when he started racing, I think it's pretty good, don't forget that the Senna's and Schumacher's were driving go-carts before the could walk
