Thank you, I will... smiley

This puzzle has two parts. The names of around 20 different locations are hidden in the letters in the image below. You need to find at least 15 of those locations, post them (and/or an image of your solution) AND tell me what these locations have in common. If you find the locations, the solution to the second part should be googlable. If you figure out the answer to the second part before you find 15 locations, it should be easy to find some more until you have 15. Capisce?

If you haven't tried to solve one of these puzzles before, don't worry; the rules are pretty simple. Here's the solution to a similar puzzle - containing the locations 'London' and 'New York' - which should explain all the rules:

What directions are we allowed to search in ?
Left-to-right, top-to-bottom, bottom-left-to-top-right, top-left-to-bottom-right ?
No twisting and turning in the words and not 'reading backwards' ?

There's a backwards direction in the hint, so that's allowed.
Horizontally, vertically and diagonally, backwards and forwards. Letters may be shared. See also the hint.

I've found:
Estoril
Bratislava
Paradise Island
Venice
Nassau
New Orleans
Kingston
Zagreb
Luxor
Geneva
Key West
Monte Carlo
Havana
Corfu
Cairo
Hamburg
Karl Marx Stadt
Beirut
Hong Kong

The thing that I find, that all of these cities have in common, is that they are all located next to (or in) water, either by the sea or by rivers/canals and that they all are tourist destinations.

Good going. You're missing two, but that's just a detail (or a clue...).

They are all (somewhat) exotic locations, but that's not more than a clue to the thing I'm looking for.

I had only found a list of about 13 locations, but you really helped me on that one... the hint on googling the result made the tick to wild!

These were the locations, I found:
Bratislava
Hamburg
Paradise Island
Kingston
Venice
Key West
Havana
Geneva
Monte Carlo
Karl Marx Stadt
Hong Kong
Cairo
Nassau
Luxor

And after a quick google on those locations, I decided that the thing all these places had in common, are places James Bond has been on loacation with his film-crew!

I assume the answer was suited to the question, so I am gonna put up another question:

Identify this sea-dwelling creature. I'd like the English name and the Faroese name.

Correct Roffen!

The two missing locations were Ascot and Kyushu. There were 21 locations; one from each James Bond movie, although some of those have been in several.

This fish is named after a good poker-card in Faroese.

This seems like a too tough question... with all the hints

False Boarfish in English and Rútarkongur in Faroese! The Latin name, which was not a part of the question is 'Neocyttus Helgae'

http://www.fishbase.org/Summary/SpeciesSummary.php?id=27759

http://www.frs.fo/fish.asp?gid=f33B8EE22-5017-4E49-B0D4-66FC5E417D81&search=r%FAtarkongur&Image1.x=20&Image1.y=5

Now since you couldn't answer that simple question, I will throw in a real kindergarten question:

What is the most accumulated weight lifted over the course of one hour in benchpress?
How much was lifted, and who did it ?

Aleister Crowley

Who is this?

Clue: He is most famous for building a first-of-its-kind device, that revolutionized the world. Some hate his device, most can't imagine living without it.
